WELCOME, FR. DAVID DEIBEL FROM 'FOOD FOR THE POOR'
Fr. David Deibel from "Food for the Poor" will be with us the weekend of September 23-24 to explain the work of this wonderful organization. Fr. Deibel will speak at all the Masses about a ministry providing direct relief to the poor throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Fr. Deibel will share personal witness about Food for the Poor's mission to care for the destitute as a means of living out the Gospel mandate to love one another. Fr. Deibel was ordained in 1983. Before preaching for Food for the Poor, Fr. Deibel was a Campus Minister at St. Mary's College in California and a Chaplain in the U.S. Armed Services in Europe and the U.S. Air Force Base at Travis AFB. In addition to preaching for Food for the Poor, he is a Canonist and Chaplain for the Christian Brothers in Napa. Please join me in welcoming Fr. Deibel.
THE "SINGING SLOVENES" TO BE AT ST. FRANCIS DE SALES PARISH FOR A POLKA MASS ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2017 AT 11:00 AM
Come and join us as well celebrate the Holy Mass with music to be provided by the "Singing Slovenes." They will also perform polka favorites for a time following the mass. Come and join in the fun.

NEWS ON THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION (CONFESSIONS)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is still celebrated on Wednesdays at 11:30 AM. However, confessions are heard at any time and an appointment can be scheduled with Fr. Ben by calling the Church office. Also, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick can be scheduled at any time as well.
