#iGiveCa†holic on #GivingTuesday
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
This year, in combination with the Diocese of Marquette and iGiveCa†holic, our parish along with many others across the U.P. have set up a donation account with iGiveCa†holic. Any online donation given to St. Francis de Sales Parish via this #givinglink will go toward meeting our 2018 UPCSA goal. Come back to our website on Tuesday November 27, 2018 simply click on the link below to make your #GiveCa†holic #GivingTuesday donation.
Our Parish Family
We, the people of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, believe in the teachings of the Catholic Church and in the Real Presence of Christ, Our Lord, in the Eucharist. We are a community that prays together, and we give of our time, talent and treasure. We seek to be good examples of Christian living by loving one another as Christ loves us, and by placing a high value on family life. We believe all human life has value from beginning to end. We see our Parish as a family which includes the unborn, youth, singles, single parents, married, married parents, divorced, separated, widowed and seniors. Because we see Christ in others, we seek out and welcome ALL people.
