• Parish Intergenerational Advent Event.

  Theme is: "Waiting for Jesus." In this, we will rediscover the liturgical meaning of Advent. Together, we will prepare our hearts for Emmanuel (God with us). We will have fun at activity centers playing and learning by creating take-home projects, beginning and ending with short Advent prayer services and enjoy refreshments of the season. You will move as a family or like-age group and participate with your larger parish family in activity centers throughout the evening. Bring your entire families, friends, and neighbors, teens and adults, married and singles! We are starting a new Christian Tradition leaving the world culture behind and enjoying to prepare spiritually for the coming of our savior, Jesus Christ! All are welcome!!!!!

  This is an annual event sponsored by the Manistique Ministerial Association. It will feature music and Scripture readings for the Christmas season. All are welcome as we prepare in joyful anticipation for the coming of our Lord! Please come and join us at St. Francis de Sales Parish for the Festival of Lessons and Carols!

• Advent Penance Service

  Annual Advent Penance Service. This is a time that there will be at least one other priest on hand to hear confessions. It is a brilliant opportunity to confess your sins to the Lord and do it within the context of a communal setting (note: confession is on an individual basis in a private setting offering either face-to-face or anonymous reconciliation opportunities).
